Rod Aitken Appointed 2025 GVCA Board Chair
Ball Construction is proud to share that Vice President Rod Aitken has been appointed as the 2025 Board Chair of the Grand Valley Construction Association (GVCA). This milestone recognizes Rod’s long-standing commitment to excellence in construction and his leadership within the industry.
Rod’s career with Ball Construction began in 1998 following his graduation from Conestoga College’s Construction Engineering Technology program. Over the past 27 years, he has played an integral role in the company’s growth, serving in positions including estimator, project manager, and currently as Vice President of Pre-Construction. In 2016, he became a partner at Ball Construction.
Throughout his career, Rod has demonstrated a deep commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. He holds both a LEED Accredited Professional designation and Gold Seal Certification, reflecting his dedication to high standards in construction management and environmentally responsible building practices.
The Grand Valley Construction Association serves as a key voice for the construction industry in the region, advocating for its members and promoting best practices, training, and collaboration across the sector. As Chair of the Board, Rod will lead strategic initiatives and help guide the GVCA’s work in workforce development, industry advocacy, and community engagement.
